Honda file

The 2001 GL1800 was the first all-new Gold Wing in 13 years, with a fuel-injected 1832 cc flat-six and a multi-box-section aluminium frame that replaced the GL1500's steel cradle. Honda used fewer frame parts, a single-sided Pro Arm swingarm and linked brakes with anti-dive, and offered ABS as an option. The result was a quicker, sharper-handling luxury tourer that kept the reverse gear, cruise control, audio system and large luggage capacity.
